Iran ready to launch joint car ventures with Tunisia

By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran is ready to launch joint car ventures with Tunisia.

Iranian Industry Minister Mohammadreza Nematzadeh said it is hoped that forming a joint business council would facilitate relations between traders of the two countries, Iran's Shana news agency reported on Dec. 30.

"Iran is able to manufacture vehicles and Tunisia is able to manufacture car parts. So, the two sides can boost cooperation in the automotive sector."

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the 12th meeting of Iran-Tunisia joint economic commission in Tehran.

He also said that the two countries could boost cooperation in telecommunication and sea transportation sectors.
