Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 12
By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Sending Iranian trade delegations to Europe will start in the next Iranian fiscal month (September 23-October 22).
Mohsen Jalalpour, the chairman of Iran's chamber of commerce, industries, mines, and agriculture, said the delegations will be dispatched in categorized and specialized groups, Iran's Fars news agency reported on September 12.
"We have made coordination with the Czech Republic, Spain, and Austria to send delegations to those countries. Also, we have made arrangement with Italy and France to receive Iranian delegations for small and medium enterprises cooperation," he said.
"Of course, we have dispatched delegations over the past years to Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Arab countries," he noted. Considering the country's need to foreign investment, those who made investment in Iran during the sanctions will be prioritized, he said.
Jalalpour said on September 6 that Iran is ready for $120 billion foreign investment in its semi-finished projects.
Now, Iran needs investment in the ICT, renewable energies, water and wastewater management, and nanotechnology projects, he added.
