An Iranian manufacturer has described Turkey as the main rival of his country in exporting agricultural and industrial machinery to the regional countries, including Azerbaijan.
The Head of Trade Union for Agricultural and Industrial Machinery Manufacturers of Tehran Ali Tavasoti told Trend Nov. 7 that groundwork has been paved for cooperation between Iran and regional countries, including Azerbaijan.
Over the past several years Iranian manufacturers have failed to claim a major share in Azerbaijan’s agricultural machinery market as Turkey had a better performance there.
Iranian manufacturers have even lagged behind Turkey in the Islamic Republic own market due to the proper infrastructure existing in the neighboring country’s production sphere.
The products of Iranian agricultural and industrial machinery manufacturers have been supplied to countries such as Venezuela, Africa, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan.
