Iran Energy Exchange registers record in condensate trades

Iran’s Energy Exchange has registered a new record in the volume of daily trades of gas condensate.

Over 12,000 tons of gas condensate was traded through the Energy Exchange on Feb. 14, Shana news agency reported.

According to the report, the traded gas condensate was produced by Ilam Gas Refining Company.

Since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016), over 315,000 tons of gas condensate has been offered through the domestic hall of the Energy Exchange in Iran.

This is while over 11,000 tons of gas condensate is expected to be offered at the Energy Exchange.

The Energy Exchange is the fourth largest member of the country’s capital market, offering oil and oil products as well as, natural gas, coal, electrical energy and other energy carriers.
