Raw materials top Iran’s ‎$43.93B‎ non-oil exports

Iran exported some 129.648 million tons of non-oil goods during the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2017), which is 38 percent more compared with the preceding year, said the latest statistics released by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) on May 1.

Iran's non-oil exports (including gas condensates) surpassed $43.93 billion during the last fiscal year, indicating a rise by 3.5 percent year on year.

Condensates worth $7.32 billion (56.4 percent increase), light oils and products (except for gasoline) worth $2.479 billion, liquefied natural gas worth $2.079 billion, liquefied propane worth $1.222 billion, petroleum gases and liquefied gas hydrocarbons worth $1.204 billion, grid polyethylene film worth $1.047 billion, pistachio worth $967 million, methanol worth $911 million and iron products worth $792 million topped the list of Iran's exported non-oil goods.

The average price for each ton of Iran's non-oil goods in the mentioned period was around $339, which is 25 percent less than in the previous year.
