The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) for Nov. 28 offers the following products and goods:
Export floor: Offers 31,700 tons of rice from Uruguay and 300 tons of bitumen.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 73,224 tons of various polymers, vacuum bottom feed stock, sulfur lumps, and lube cut oil.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 2,200 tons of rebar basket from Kavir Steel Company.
Agriculture floor: Offers 238,000 day-old chickens, 149,500 tons of wheat, 100 tons of sunflower raw oil, 10,000 tons of soybean meal pellet, and 100 tons of soybean oil.
Meanwhile, the side market of IME will witness offering of 69 tons of metal scrap and 100 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
