The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 28:
Export floor: Offers 23,200 tons of bitumen, insulation, sulphur and 20,000 tons of rice.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 99230 tons of polymers, chemicals, bitumen and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 5,000 tons of rebar basket, 15,000 tons of iron beam, 1,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots, 500 tons of aluminum billets and 30,000 tons of blooms.
Agriculture floor: Offers 944,000 day-old chicks, 8,800 tons of wheat, 3,850 tons of sugar, 1,000 tons of colza crude oil, 170 tons of large lentil and 6,000 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
