The number of Iranians who left the country through the Bazargan customs checkpoint of Iran’s West Azerbaijan province has dropped by 46 percent during the first 11 months of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018) compared to the same period of last Iranian year, Jabir Akbarpur, director of the Bazargan Customs Checkpoint, said.
This Iranian year, 269,600 people have left the country through the Bazargan customs checkpoint compared to 493,200 people last Iranian year, Akbarpur added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
He added that 3,750 Iranians pass through the Bazargan customs checkpoints daily.
The Bazargan customs, located in Iran's northern West Azerbaijan province, is one of the main customs checkpoints in terms of import, export and transit.
