Iran must implement projects over 9B euros in oil refining and petrochemical industries

Iran must implement 18 projects worth over 9 billion euros in the oil refining and petrochemical industries, Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Mehdi Sadeghi Niyaraki said, Trend reports referring to Shata.

Niyaraki made the remarks at a signing ceremony of the contract for the production of equipment for the Iranian oil refining and petrochemical industries held in Tehran on Oct. 22. The contract worth 60 million euro was awarded by National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company to Azarab Industries Company and Iran Arak Machinery Company (Machine Sazi Arak).

"This agreement is related to the repair of the equipment of Kian and Dehloran petrochemical complexes," the deputy minister said.

On average, Iranian manufacturers ensure 60 percent of equipment used at the refineries and petrochemical plants, the deputy minister said.
