Iran sees increase in permits for industrial establishments

TEHRAN, Iran, July 26

The statistics issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade indicate 10,714 work permits have been issued for industrial establishments in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021).

The statistics indicate 31.8 percent growth in issuing permits for industrial establishment compared to the same time in last Iranian year (started March 20, 2020), Trend reports citing IRNA.

It is expected that $64 million invested for the following permits that have 162 percent growth compared to the same time in the last Iranian year. These permits would create jobs for 288,96 people that is a 52.4 percent increase compared to the first three months of the last Iranian year.

A total of 221 permits for mine exploration has been issued during the first three months of the current Iranian year that shows an 8.3 percent growth compared to the same time in the last Iranian year.

Permit for the industrial operation had a 25.3 percent increase with 1,572 permits during spring. The permits for operating mines created 1,085 jobs that had a 3.8 percent decline compared to the first three months of the last Iranian year. The cost of exploration operation had 56.7 percent growth by $7 million.
