Net profit of Iran's Ghadir petrochemical company rises

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The net profit of Iran's Ghadir Petrochemical Company rose 32 percent in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Trend reports.

The company's net profit amounted to 45.9 trillion rials (about $1 billion) in the last Iranian year.

The company also supplied various types of equipment and appliances through local production in the last Iranian year. The company saved $100 million as a result.

Meanwhile, Iran's Ghadir Petrochemical Company operates under the management of Tamin Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Company (TAPPICO). The plant of Iran's Gadir Petrochemical Company has been in operation since 2010. This company can produce 120,000 tons of PVC and 150,000 tons of VCM (vinyl chloride monomer) per year.

To note, Ghadir Petrochemical Company produced 97,500 tons of products during eight months of the last Iranian year (from March 21 through November 21, 2023).
