Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is expected to visit Germany this week, presumably on Feb. 3. President Saakashvili will attend the annual security conference to be held in Munich, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said.
President Saakashvili received an invitation to attend the annual conference in Munich. Presumably, he will travel to Germany late this week. This is an important format, since bilateral meetings are often held during these conferences," Kalandadze said.
The conference officially begins on Feb. 4 and will close on Feb. 7. The event has been held in Munich since 1962.
