The Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry and the International Transport Association finalized a memorandum of understanding.

The document was signed by Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister David Tkeshelashvili, and International Transportation Association Secretary General Martin Marr.

The memorandum envisages developing transportation across Georgia to Asian countries and Europe, Tkeshelashvili told journalists, adding that priorities include improving international road transport, advancing the legal framework for road links and transportation, improving road infrastructure, and increasing security on international highways.
