Representatives of leading U.S tour operators arrived in Georgia to become acquainted with the country's tourism opportunities, the Georgian Tourism Agency told Trend on Wednesday.
According to a report, the visitors who will become familiarized with all Georgian regions in the coming week are heads and directors of tourism companies.
They will focus on visiting Georgia's ancient capital Mtskheta, along with Kutaisi, Batumi, Borjomi, and Sataplia.
U.S. tour operators, after becoming familiarized with Georgia's tourist opportunities, plan to consider products which will be offered to American tourists. In general, there is an interest in visiting antiquities, wine tours, sea, and ski resorts.
"The main thing is improving the quality of tourism in Georgia, with which we will help," the president of the U.S. company "Panorama Travel" Irina Sina told journalists.
