Georgia made another "important step" towards the integration into NATO, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said in Kutaisi at the first meeting of Parliament in the new building.
Saakashvili noted that he "felt a change of atmosphere" with regard to Georgia at the last NATO summit in Chicago.
"We are ever closer to NATO, and I think that the next summit will be decisive in this regard," Saakashvili said.
The President of Georgia noted that Georgia has shown that it is a guarantor of security and not just a consumer of it. "It is openly acknowledged, and Georgia will further move in this direction," he said.
