Large quantity of weapons has been seized in Tbilisi on Monday, a spokesman for Georgian Defense Ministry Vako Avaliani said.
According to him, a citizen contacted the military police saying that a whole arsenal of weapons is kept in his house. The military police jointly with police seized weapons.
Some 100 units of automatic weapons were seized.
According to Avaliani, the information about the citizen and other details are not yet revealed as this is against interests of the investigation.
