First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili is strongly against the new Labour Code, he said at a meeting with students of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).
According to him, the new draft code is problematic.
"It contains such things that employees will not able to do anything at all. And this is in a country where business should be developed, where the authorities have to hold reforms. The preparation of such a code was completely wrong," Margvelashvili said.
According to him, the bill prepared by the Ministry of Justice was written under the dictation of labour unions.
