Head of Tourism Administration of Georgia Giorgi Sigua presented a concept of the development of the industry and the administration's actions plan during a meeting with representatives of the private sector and the media on Tuesday.
The main directions of the activities are thep reparation of a law on tourism, formation of regional management organizations, establishment of a convention bureau, as well as opening a hotline for tourists.
According to Sigua, these directions also include the development of adventure tourism, as well as agro-farming, wine, inclusive tourism, and the creation of small tourism infrastructure, in particular of tourism information centers.
It is planned to hold international exhibitions and marketing campaigns in international markets.
