The official website of the European Union (EU) posted a message on conclusion of Georgia-EU negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement.
According to the message, the EU and Georgia have successfully concluded negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), which in particular is a part of the Association Agreement.
The Association Agreement alongside with the DCFTA will contribute to a political association and Georgia's economic integration into the EU, the report said.
The report also notes that a comprehensive free zone, on which the agreement was reached within 17 months and seven rounds, will give Georgian products greater possibilities of access into the EU market.
