The credit investments of the Georgian commercial banks increased by three per cent compared to the previous month amounting to 9.9 billion lari ($1=1.72 lari) as of Dec.1, the Georgian National Bank told Trend on Dec.26.

The volume of credits in lari increased by 230.8 million and in foreign currency by 53.2 million lari in November.

Legal entities and residents were given one billion lari in the national currency in the form of credit and four billion lari in international currency in November.

The trade area accounts for the largest part which is 45.9 per cent of the total volume of crediting legal entities. The crediting of trade decreased by 1.8 per cent, or by 41.7 million lari in November compared to October and amounted to 2.3 billion lari.
