BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Georgia’s re-export of cars from January through March 2022 amounted to $94.8 million, which is an increase of 9.5 percent, compared to $86.5 million over the same period of 2021, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
However, the number of Georgia’s re-exported cars in the reporting period of 2022 decreased by 4.3 percent, compared to the first quarter of 2021 (11,469) - to 10,973 cars.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan ranked first among the main importers of re-exported cars from Georgia from January through March 2022. The re-export amounted to $50.8 million, which is an increase of 6.2 percent, compared to $47.8 million over the same period of 2021.

Meanwhile, Georgia’s foreign trade turnover (excluding non-declared trade) from January through March 2022 amounted to $3.8 billion, which is an increase of 37.9 percent, compared to $2.7 billion over the same period of 2021.
