Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman today criticized Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's attitude and the statements addressed to Israel, saying that Erdogan strives for establishing closer ties with the Islamic world for account of Jewish state, the Al Arabiya website reports.
According to him, Lieberman has not heard that Erdogan reacted to the bloody attacks committed by Muslims in Pakistan and in Iraq, in this case facing with the problem of millions of Kurds in the country which can not solve himself".
"Erdogan gradually turns into Mauammar Qaddafi and Hugo Chavez," Lieberman said.
Turkish PM being in an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, criticized construction of settlements in the Palestinian occupied territories, inattention, shown by the world community toward Israel as a country with nuclear weapons.
Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post quoted an official representative in Israel who called on Erdogan not to become "another radical leader, like Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez."
