At least seven people have been killed or injured in two attacks led by Taliban-linked militants in the central Afghan province of Ghazni, local police officials say, Press TV reported.

At least four soldiers have been killed and wounded in a Taliban attack on a military vehicle, local police officials reported on Sunday.

The vehicle conveying soldiers lost control after the Taliban attack in the Andar district in Ghazni province. The crash claimed the lives of two Afghan soldiers, according to a Press TV correspondent in Afghanistan.

"Initial reports say two others were injured in the fatal attack," General Rajab Ali Rashid, an Afghan senior army officer in the province said.

In a separate incident in the same province, a remote-controlled bomb exploded in front of the security command headquarters.

According to Ghazni Police Chief Khial Baz Sherzai, the explosion left a woman and a police officer injured.

Scores of civilians have been killed in crossfire between security forces and Taliban militants whose main goal is to topple the Western-backed government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
