About 50 Turkmen, Kazakh companies registered in Turkey in January-July

In January-July this year, 46 companies with Turkmen and Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey, Trend reports referring to Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

In July 2019, 29 companies from Turkmenistan with a total capital of 5.545 million Turkish liras were registered in Turkey, while over the same period in 2018, this figure amounted to 4.328 million Turkish liras.

In January-July 2019, most of the Turkmen companies with a total capital of 4.421 million Turkish liras were registered in Istanbul (25 companies).

“In this period, two industrial, two construction, 16 wholesale and retail companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey,” reads the report. “Nine companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.”

The total capital of 16 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 3.870 million liras.

In July 2019, 17 companies from Kazakhstan were registered in Turkey with a total capital of 3.417 million Turkish liras, while for the same period in 2018, this figure amounted to 2.906 million Turkish liras.

In January-July 2019, most Kazakh companies were registered in Istanbul (8 companies) with a total capital of 1.850 million Turkish liras.

“In January-July 2019, four construction companies with Kazakh capital, as well as nine companies in the wholesale and retail trade were registered in Turkey,” the report said. “Four companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.”

The total capital of nine wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 1.395 million liras.
