Over 30,000 vessels sail through Bosphorus in 9 months 2019

A total of 30,352 vessels sailed through the Bosphorus in Turkey during the first three quarters of 2019, 13,759 of which were cargo ships, Trend reports referring to the country's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

According to the ministry, 1,519 cargo ships sailed through the Bosphorus in January 2019; 1,301 in February; 1,616 in March; 1,587 in April; 1,600 in May; 1,461 in June; 1,519 in July; 1,592 in August; and 1,564 in September.

Some 116 warships sailed through the Bosphorus during the first three quarters of 2019, according to the ministry.
