Turkey's trade turnover with Ukraine amounted to $376.2 million in February 2020, which is an increase by $47 million compared to the same month of 2019, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
"Turkey's export to Ukraine amounted to $166.3 million in February 2020, whereas import from Ukraine equaled $209.9 million," the ministry said.
According to the ministry, Turkey's trade turnover with Ukraine amounted to $756.4 million from January through February 2020, which is an increase by $137.9 million compared to the same period of last year.
"Turkey's export to Ukraine amounted to $293 million from January through February 2020, whereas import from Ukraine equaled $463.3 million," the ministry added.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in February 2020 made up $32.2 billion.
In February 2020, export from Turkey increased by 2.3 percent compared to February 2019, exceeding $14.6 billion.
Turkey's import increased by 9.8 percent in February 2020 compared to the same month of 2019 and exceeded $17.6 billion.
From January through February 2020, Turkey’s trade turnover exceeded $66.1 billion.
During the reporting period, export of Turkey increased by 4.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019, reaching $29.3 billion. Meanwhile, Turkey’s import increased by 14.3 percent compared to the same period of 2019, exceeding $36.8 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in 2019 exceeded $374.2 billion.
