As many as 3,758 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Ukraine in the first 4 months of 2020, which is 54 percent more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 20 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Ukraine accounted for 1.02 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks for the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in April 2020, 1,025 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Ukraine, which is 30 percent more than in April 2019.
In total, 369,978 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
