Turkey discloses volume of benzoyl peroxide transshipment through its ports

The volume of benzoyl peroxide transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to 75,100 tons from January through April 2020, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

During this period, 12,950 tons of benzoyl peroxide were handled through the ports of Turkey by ships flying the Turkish flag, and 62,150 tons - by ships flying the flags of other countries.

Meanwhile, no transit of benzoyl was carried out through Turkish ports.

From January through April 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to more than 123.4 million tons.

Meanwhile, the volume of cargo handled by ships flying the Turkish flag surpassed 9.6 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 4.9 million tons, while the cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 108.8 million tons from January through April 2020.

Over the reporting period, over 24.9 million tons of cargo were transited through the ports of Turkey.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to more than 28.8 million tons in April 2020.

In the reporting month, the volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 2.2 million tons, while cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 25.6 million tons.

According to the ministry, 6.5 million tons of cargo was transported in transit through the ports of Turkey in March 2020
