Value of leather products’ export from Turkey to Kazakhstan has spiked in the first six months of 2021, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to $18.33 million, up 65.2 percent on annual basis.
In June 2021, Turkey exported leather products worth $2.8 million to Kazakhstan, which is the growth of 1.2 times compared to June of last year.
Turkish-made leather products’ total export has exceeded $793.2 million from January through June 2021, up by 25.7 percent from the same period of the previous year.
In June this year, the mentioned products’ export amounted to $158 million, which is a growth of 51.4 percent compared to the same month of 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021), Turkey has exported leather products worth more than $1.4 billion.
