The export of clothes from Turkey to Georgia increased by 29.5 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $49 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
Thus, in June 2021, the export of clothes from Turkey to Georgia increased by 22.9 percent compared to June 2020, reaching $9.89 million.
Turkey as a whole increased the export of clothes by 35.3 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.4 billion.
In general, Turkey exported clothes worth $1.8 billion in June 2021, which is 34.1 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
Turkey’s export of clothes totaled $19.6 billion during the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
