Turkey’s export of cement to Uzbekistan has notably grown from January through July 2021 in value, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $6.8 million, which is by 79.6 percent more than in the first seven months of last year.
In July 2021, value of Turkey’s cement export to Uzbekistan surged by 108.3 percent on annual basis, making up over $1.3 million.
In the first seven months of 2021, the product’s export by Turkey to world markets amounted to over $2.5 billion, up by 24.9 percent year on year, while in July this indicator amounted to over $358.2 million, up by 2.2 percent compared to July 2020.
The export of cement from the country reached $4.2 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2020 through July 2021).
