The export of clothing from Turkey to Uzbekistan soared by 92.3 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year, exceeding $11.1 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, in August 2021, the export of clothing from Turkey to Uzbekistan surged 4.8 times as compared to August 2020, reaching $2.38 million.
Turkey in total increased exports of clothing by 24.7 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year - up to $12.8 billion.
Turkey exported clothing worth $1.7 billion in August 2021, which is 13.3 percent more than in August 2020.
Over the last 12 months (from August 2020 to August 2021), Turkish exports of clothing amounted to $19.6 billion.
