Turkish ports in 10M2021 handled over 14.2 million tons of cargo from Egypt, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, at the same time, over 2.2 million tons of cargo from Egypt were delivered to ports by ships flying the Turkish flag, and 11.2 million tons by ships flying the flags of other countries.
During this period, ships flying the Egyptian flag delivered 38,226 tons of cargo to Turkish ports.
It is reported that Turkish ports handled 1.6 million tons of transit cargo from Egypt in 10M2021.
Around 318.9 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021.
During the reporting period, 25.02 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag.
Around 293.9 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the flags of other countries through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021.
Moreover, 63.8 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Some 32.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in October 2021.
Around 2.4 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag while 30.04 million tons by ships flying the flags of other countries in October 2021.
Some 6.7 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in October 2021.
