BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. Turkish ports handled 197,038 vehicles in March 2022, Trend reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
According to the ministry, in the reporting month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 76,020 vehicles to Turkish ports and also 121,018 cars were sent from the ports of Turkey.
Turkish ports handled 552,712 vehicles from January through March 2022, the ministry noted.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 206,115 vehicles to Turkish ports and 346,597 vehicles were sent from Turkish ports in the reporting period, added to the ministry.
The ports of Turkey handled 2.09 million cars in 2021.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 790,274 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Totally, more than 1.3 million vehicles were sent from Turkish ports by Ro-Ro ships last year.
