An explosion, which occurred on railroad bed in the territory of Dagestan, has not affected railway communication between Azerbaijan and Russia, CJSC Azerbaijan Railways spokesman Nadir Azmammadov told Trend on Thursday.
According to Russian media outlets, unknown persons blew up a freight train in Dagestan on Thursday morning. No one was injured. Bomb exploded at 07:55 Moscow time on the Inchhe-Izberbash railway section under 30th wagon of the freight train. Derailment of the train was not observed.
According to Azmammadov, Tumen-Baku railway run arrived in Baku on Thursday night, which departed from the capital at 06:00 local time.
"Other railway runs are not scheduled for today, and the incident in Dagestan had no impact on railway communication," he said.
