A Tajikistan-Korea business forum took place in Yeosu, South Korea on July 11, Asia-Plus reported on Thursday.
The conference brought together the representatives of business communities of the two countries, Tajikistan's Camber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) reported.
According to the CCI, Tajikistan's CCI head Sharif Said met with a mayor and senior representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yeosu on the sidelines of the forum.
The sides discussed the issues related to economic cooperation between the two countries and Sharif Said outlined tourism, construction, energy, telecommunications, health and mining, as the areas which could drive the bilateral trade between Tajikistan and South Korea.
The sides also considered the issues of investing in cotton industry, silk spinning, tanning industry, as well as fruit and vegetable processing in Tajikistan, the source said.
