Militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) kidnapped head of the Kulp district of Turkish province of Diyarbakir Veysel Celik on Monday morning, CNN Turk television channel reported.
Police are investigating and trying to get on the tracks of kidnappers. This is the second time in recent months, when Turkish district head is kidnapped.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
