A helicopter made emergency landing in Nuristan province on Wednesday, casualties feared, provincial police chief Shams Rahman Zahid said.
"The incident happened at 11:00 a.m. local time in nearby provincial capital Parun and some people on board sustained injuries," Zahid told Xinhua.
