Russian singer Dina Garipova, who ranked fifth in "Eurovision-2013", is pleased with the results of the contest. She thinks that the proceedings related to the "missing" votes from Azerbaijan are unnecessary, RIA Novosti reported today.

"I am pleased with the contest results," she said at a conference in Kazan. "Perhaps, there were some problems with the telephone network, but I am not bothered. It is difficult for me to comment on this. Now I know that people voted for me."

On Monday, head of Azerbaijani Public Television Jamil Guliyev made a statement, saying that Russian singer Dina Garipova ranked second place in the SMS voting in Azerbaijan.

"It is of serious concern and surprise that Russia got no point from Azerbaijan in the final counting of the votes," Guliyev said.
