Incomes of Azerbaijan’s population increased by 8.5 percent and reached 25.68 billion Azerbaijani manats in Jan.-July 2016, said the State Statistics Committee’s report on the results of January-July 2016.
The official exchange rate is 1.6102 AZN/USD on Aug. 15.
The country’s per capita income amounted to 2,670 manats during the reporting period, or 381.6 manats per month, which is by 7.5 percent more than the same period of 2015, said the report.
Net incomes of the population increased by 8.6 percent and amounted to 23.35 billion manats in January-July 2016 as compared to the same period of 2015, according to the report.
In the reporting period, some 77 percent of population’s income was directed to final consumption expenditure, 9.1 percent - tax, insurance and membership contributions, 2.7 percent - payment of debts on loans, and 11.2 percent - to charges.
