Azerbaijani banks issued the loans worth 2.6 billion manats to the business structures in January-July 2019, Acting Chairman of board of the Financial Market Supervisory Authority of Azerbaijan (FIMSA) Ibrahim Alishev said.
Alishev made the remarks at the Azerbaijani-German business forum in Baku on Sept. 27, Trend reports.
“The Azerbaijani banking sector is gradually recovering,” he said. “An increase in the amount of loans issued to the business structures testifies to this.”
"The Azerbaijani banks issued the loans worth 2.6 billion manats to the business structures in January-July 2019 compared to 4.3 billion manats for the whole 2018,” Alishev said.
