The demonstrations take place in Turkey's Hatay province as a sign of protest against the death of a 20 year old boy as a result of clashes between the police and demonstrators on Taksim square in Istanbul, CNN Turk TV channel reported on Saturday.

Hatay citizen Ali Ismail Korkmaz was injured during demonstrations against the demolition of the Gezi Park in early June. Ali Ismail Korkmaz died on July 11, the report said.

One demonstrator was seriously injured during the clashes with police, three policemen were slightly injured, the preliminary information said.

Around 4,000 people were injured, 5 people were killed, some 4,900 people were detained by police as a result of the riots in Turkey for three weeks.

The Turkish oppositional parties accuse the police of using excessive force against protestors.
In total, around 2.5 million people from 79 Turkish provinces participated in protest actions during three weeks, the Turkish Interior Ministry said earlier.
