Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Ramazanova / A European Youth Centre is expected to be opened in Baku. The decision was made at a meeting between the Azerbaijani Youth & Sports Minister Azad Rahimov and the head of the Youth & Sports Department of the Council of Europe (CE) Ralph-Rene Weingartner.
They discussed youth and sports cooperation and the expansion of activities of Azerbaijani youth organizations in Europe.
Azerbaijan may play an important role in the expansion of cooperation between the CE and the Organization for Islamic Conference, Weingartner noted.
