Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev is currently visiting Hungary. On Jan. 26, he gave an interview to the Hungarian Telegraph Agency and the Duna
television at his residence - the InterContinental Hotel, AzerTaj state news
agency reported.
The President answered questions about the importance of the
Nabucco project, Azerbaijan's attitude towards the project, country's gas
production, the export potential and prospects, the role of Azerbaijan in Europe's energy security, as well as the historical similarities between the peoples
of Azerbaijan and Hungary, the close relations, the importance of media in the
development of relations between both countries.
Azerbaijani President also gave an interview to the Hungarian Bloomberg-News
television. Ilham Aliyev responded to questions related to Azerbaijan's position on the Nabucco project, country's current situation and prospects of oil and
gas industry, the operation of pipelines, Azerbaijan's participation in
ensuring European energy security.
