Georgia, Armenia agree to hold regular meetings

Georgian and Armenian foreign ministers agreed to hold more frequent official meetings, the ministers Grigol Vashadze and Edward Nalbandyan said at a joint press conference.

Nalbandyan said the visit to Tbilisi is a return visit to Georgian foreign minister's visit to Yerevan.

"Our countries maintain friendly and warm ties. We agreed to meet more frequently both in Georgia and Armenia and on international arena," Armenian minister said.

He said there are issues that require discussions and work on them.

Nalbandyan said the countries will cooperate on culture. Days of Armenian Culture will be held in Georgia soon. "Days of Georgian Culture were success in Armenia," he said.

Armenian foreign minister paid two-day visit to Tbilisi on June 7. He attended inauguration ceremony of the monument to Armenian poet Sayat Nova.
