Georgia, Tbilisi, September 4 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

One of leaders of the Conservative Party, Kakha Kukava, threatens with new wave of mass protests. It will occur if political persecution of the opposition is not ceased, Kukava said after the meeting of opposition leaders with representatives of the diplomatic corps today.

"If political repressions are not ceased, a new wave of mass protests will begin. The opposition does not want to aggravate the situation, but if the political terror continues, we will be forced to act with new power," conservative said.

Kukava did not specify the way of opposition's acts in future. He only said that political terror was discussed at the meeting with diplomats.
