A delegation of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) headed by NAP Deputy Chairman, Executive Secretary Ali Ahmedov paid a visit to the Bilasuvar region to meet with the family of National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov.
NAP Deputy Executive Secretary Mubariz Gurbanli, NAP Board Member, Parliamentary Committee Chairman Eldar Ibrahimov, Parliamentary Committee Chairman Hadi Rajabli, NAP Bilasuvar Regional Organization Chairman Kamil Mirzoyev and Bilasuvar Region Executice Power Head Adil Mammadov attended the meeting, the party's website reported.
President Ilham Aliyev assigned Mubariz Ibrahimov to the title of National Hero and this is the highest mark to his glorious military route, Ahmedov said during the meeting with the martyr's father Agakerim Ibrahimov.
"Today, all young people in Azerbaijan know Mubariz and speak about him. We need heroes like Mubariz while our land is not liberated from the occupation, and while Azerbaijan did not return its territory. With his heroism, Mubariz proved to the world that Azerbaijan will return its land, and that there are brave heroes in Azerbaijan, who are ready to sacrifice their lives for their land. Mubariz demonstrated the perfect example necessary for Azerbaijan. He proved that we can liberate our land from occupation at the cost of his life. His heroism is an example for all of us," Ahmedov said.
Ahmedov said Mubariz's heroism should be an example for the Azerbaijani youth.
"Every young person should be prepared to repeat Mubariz's heroism. Heroism, such as Mubariz's, should live in the heart of every young person until our land is not liberated from the occupation and the despicable enemy is not driven from our land," he added.
Mubariz Ibrahimov showed heroism, repelling the attack of the Armenian armed forces June 18. As a result, five Armenian militaries were killed and three wounded.
