Astana discusses parliamentary cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia

Further development of inter-Parliamentary cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia was discussed Sept.22 at a meeting of Head of Staff of Senate Murat Nurtleuov with Georgian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Paata Kalandadze, the Kazakh Senate said.

Further development of inter-Parliamentary cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia was discussed Sept.22 at a meeting of Head of Staff of Senate Murat Nurtleuov with Georgian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Paata Kalandadze, the Kazakh Senate said.

"Murat Nurtleuov handed over Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan's Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's letter to the Georgian diplomat for the Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze," the Kazakh Senate said.

Nurtleuov supported the Georgian counterpart's initiative to intensify interaction between the two countries' parliaments and reaffirmed the Kazakh side's willingness to exchange visits of parliamentary delegations.
