Georgian FM expected to visit Egypt early next year
Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov.26 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
The Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will pay an official visit to Egypt in March next year.
Details of the visit were discussed at a meeting between Vashadze and Egyptian ambassador to Georgia Wahid El-Din Ismail Galal held at the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the ministry told Trend.
The sides also discussed prospects for further deepening bilateral relations and mutual support in international organizations.
In May this year Georgia and Egypt signed intergovernmental agreements to avoid double taxation of citizens and capital, as well as prevention of tax evasion. The agreement will attract more investments to Georgia's economy by the Egyptian business, and contribute to simplification of business conduct between both countries' businessmen.
Also a cooperation agreement was signed between the national archives and parliamentary libraries of Georgia and Egypt.
