The trial of Israeli businessmen Roni Fuchs and Zeev Frankel will resume at the Tbilisi City Court today.
Their lawyer, Archil Kbilashvili, told Trend that the judge is reviewing the evidence provided by the persecution. The process is expected to last within two weeks.
According to the lawyer, during the review of the criminal case, no procedural violations were recorded by the court.
Fuchs and Frankel were arrested in an elite restaurant in Batumi last October during a meeting with Deputy Finance Minister Avtandil Haraidze.
The Israeli president asked his Georgian counterpart to free his compatriots.
